Do you have international neighbors?
Living in a place with international neighbors can be an amazing experience. I know this firsthand because I’ve been interning for Urbytus in Fuengirola-Costa Del Sol for the past two months. Not only is it a popular vacation spot, but it’s also an environment that attracts people from all over the world.
I have been working for Urbytus as an intern for the past 2 months in Fuengirola- Costa Del Sol, and I have to say that it’s not only a traveling destination, but also international environment with all different kind of people from different kind of nationalities.
I have met people from England, Norway, Ireland, Sweden, Germany, USA, and many from Latin America. And that is the beauty about it.
As we know Costa Del Sol has a lot of Urbanizations. Living in an urbanization with international neighbors has a lot of benefits. For one, you get to experience different cultures and languages. You learn new customs, beliefs, and even try different cuisines. This exposure to diversity can make you more tolerant and accepting of different people and their ways of life.
It’s especially great for someone like me who’s studying International Business Management. Having international neighbors can provide networking opportunities and help you develop cross-cultural communication skills. You get to interact with people from all over the world, establish connections, and learn more about different cultures. It’s a valuable experience that can be applied in the global economy, where understanding different cultures and languages is essential.
But it’s not all rainbows and sunshine. Sometimes communication can be challenging, especially if there’s a language barrier. And it’s essential to be respectful and open-minded because cultural differences can sometimes lead to misunderstandings.
In conclusion, having international neighbors in an urbanization in Costa Del Sol is a unique and enriching experience. You get to learn about different cultures, develop cross-cultural communication skills, and establish international connections. And, let’s not forget, you get to try different types of food! It’s important to be open-minded and respectful, embrace diversity, and appreciate the richness that such an environment provides.
